We are overwhelmed by the support of our community and the success of tonight’s fundraising event. Thank you to Michelle Piña Damiani and Susan Manning Parmar and everyone else who organized the Soup Supper. And thank you to all the volunteers, chefs and neighbors who made this possible and attended.

Kari Miller, International Neighbors Executive Director shared a perfect quote from English novelist Margaret Kennedy tonight: “Soup is a lot like a family. Each ingredient enhances the others; each batch has its own characteristics; and it needs time to simmer to reach full flavor.”

The funds raised tonight will help us continue to provide services, programs and support for our refugee and immigrant families in Charlottesville. Together we will make a difference. Thank you!
