As a non-profit organization, International Neighbors depends on donations from kind-hearted people like you. There are many ways where you can change the lives of our recently resettled refuge and SIV neighbors.
Become a monthly donor
Monthly giving is an easy, efficient, and tax-deductible way to make a difference in the lives of our international neighbors.
Gift Securities
- We’ve partnered with Davenport & Co. to accept donations of appreciated securities like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs which may provide tax benefits for you. Please consult with your financial professional to discuss the potential tax benefits.
- In order to donate securities, please call the Davenport team at 434-245-1544 and inform them that you would like to make a gift of securities to International Neighbors. They will help facilitate the transfer from your financial institution.
Give from your donor-advised fund
Make a lasting impact on the lives of recently resettled refugees and Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders by making a gift through your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)
With a DAF, you can make a meaningful contribution today, enjoy an immediate tax deduction, and continue supporting this critical cause over time by recommending grants that provide ongoing resources and support.

Leverage your company's matching program
For Individuals: Double your donation by asking your HR team if your company has a matching program. Send your company’s matching gift form along with your donation via mail (you can find our address at the bottom of each page on our website).
For Companies: Send an email to donate@internationalneighbors.org expressing your interest in setting up your company to match donations.
Donate your vehicle
Vehicles are our most requested item! If you have an operable vehicle with a valid Virginia inspection sticker and would like to make a tax-deductible gift, please email contactus@internationalneighbors.org to begin the donation process.
Donate In-Kind
Our clients often need clothing, toys, furniture, and houseware items. We kindly ask that these donations be dropped off at one of these community partners' locations: Earlysville Exchange, Kid2Kid, and Twice is Nice. When dropping off donated items, please mention that you are donating on behalf of International Neighbors, as our refugee/SIV clients 'shop' at these locations using vouchers and volunteer support. Unfortunately, due to limited office space, we cannot accept these tangible donations at our physical location.
